Each year we will
present the CSPG Members' Spring Picnic and the CSPG
Fall
Star
Party:
a week long event: the primary source of our
revenue. The field used for the star parties is open to all people
year-round.
Green Lasers - Green Lasers are prohibited at all CSPG registered events.
CSPG Radio Astronomy Training - October 2-3, 2010
CSPG and the Society of Amatuer Radio Astronomy are proud to announce that Tom Crowley will be holding a Radio Astronomy Training at the CSPG Observing Field the weekend of October 2-3, 2010. Training will begin promptly at 10am on Saturday, October 2, 2010. A $15 donation is requested to cover the cost of materials and a lunch will be provided. Full agenda is below:

New Moon Weekends
The field and all facilities are open to members, rain or shine, every new moon weekend Friday - Sunday. See the table below for actual dates.
Most new moon weekends the field and facilities are open from Wednesday - Monday, but please check with one of the keyholders if you plan on arriving / staying outside of the Friday - Sunday window.
If you would like to use the field and/or facilities at a time other than a new moon weekend, you will need to contact a keyholder to make special arrangements.
Guests are welcome to 'try before you buy' and visit the field either by themselves or with another member, but must contact one of the keyholders prior to visiting.
